Memory Day

BBQ Time!!! To celebrate memorial day, we enjoyed the wonderful weather, surprisingly good food, and great friends.

(Sorry Bradley, the depth of field was so small I focused on the tip of your hat and your elbow without noticing. I'll get better. But I still like it...)

Straight Classy.

Nick was a little unsure about what to do at first.

But he got the hang of it pretty quick and did an amazing job!

And Dan made some delicious cookies for dessert

Let the games begin. We played a few rounds of Taboo - one of my favorite games - it was fairly entertaining and very enjoyable.
Nick was the best. I think he got 8 or 9 cards during his turn.
Bradley on the other hand struggled a little bit...
But it was hilarious!

Lindsey is in all of the pictures because instead of taking a turn she was the official buzzer for the whole game :)

Logan

We went to Logan a few weekends ago and had a blast with the Lovedays!
We ate delicious burgers (thanks to John), went golfing, watched an awesome movie (Iron Man 2), played frisbee, and Dan got to ride the motorcycle.

HAHA I love these pictures! (Loveday tried to hit the gas and knock me off the back of the bike)

We had a blast golfing... can't you tell?

Perfect Form.

Cutest

It was a perfect day!

Thug Life

(Loveday and I drove these balls over a vast lake of water on a dog-leg right about 270 yards up near the green)

Nice throw.

Dessert Crepes

We had a little party to watch the basketball game saturday night. For anyone who missed the game or doesn't know, LAKERS WON!!! I am super excited for the championship games, it should be a great series.

We made dessert crepes for the first time. They were delicious! (Thanks to Jen, Mike, Nicole and Dave for buying us the woderful crepe maker). It took us a while to figure out how to do it, but soon enough Dan became the crepe making master.

The Mullins' - sorry I cut Garrett's face off.

Sean, Nick (wearing a clippers hat), Wesley and Brad.

P.S. Lindsey wasn't in any of the pictures but she did come over a little later in the evening to hang out with us also :)

Palm Desert

We had a blast in Palm Springs! Unfortunately we weren't able to make it down for the whole week because of school and golf. But the three days that we were there, were incredible.

There was lots of golfing
swimming
playing games
(Ethan dominated)
laughing

and most importantly, relaxing!
While Dan was gone golfing, I got the best wakeup call ever. These kids are the cutest!

This is the hole that Dan played perfectly. He says he did it on purpose but I'm not sure if I believe him. The ball hit a palm tree, bounced off, hit the flag and almost went in the hole!

And this is another picture of Dan golfing - he is trying to figure out which ball is his.

All of the adults went out to eat.

Dan thought it was appropriate to show everyone what he was eating.
After dinner was over, Mike and Dan decided to compare noses. Ha Ha

Everyone. We took tons of pictures and this is the best we could do.
Aren't we cute?
Notice Colin's smile. It is my favorite thing, here is another picture of it.
The original Barnes children
And their spouses
This is Katelynn's favorite pose, and afterwards she asks "Aren't I beautiful?"

Best picture of the week.
I swear I got dressed first.
Now for the fun and games.
Croquet (I won - if you were wondering)
Badminton
Bocce Ball. Greg was on the ground for this picture. Ha. It turned out great :)
We also got to celebrate Mike and Jen's birthday.
Mike blew out all of the candles!

The week couldn't have been better - perfect weather and a great family!
